Irena Davydova Forquer
Fundraising Co-Chair
Irena was born and raised in the Soviet Union, where personal ambition was often stifled and women
had limited opportunities to define their own futures. Her life was forever changed when she was
awarded a scholarship to attend a four-year college in the United States. That opportunity opened
not just doors-but an entirely new world. It fueled a lifelong mission: to help women access the
resources, education, and support they need to thrive.
Adjusting to a new country and culture came with immense challenges-from learning a new
language to finding her place in an unfamiliar professional landscape. Over the years, Irena has worked hard to build a successful career as a financial advisor, while also balancing the demands of
motherhood. She took time away from my profession to focus on raising my children and volunteering in their schools. Later, she navigated a divorce and the realities of single motherhood, all while
re-establishing herself professionally with strength and determination.
Through every chapter, Irena’s commitment to uplifting women has only grown stronger. Today, she works with women from diverse backgrounds-many of whom are navigating retirement, starting over after divorce, or seeking financial clarity-to help them take control of their futures. She believes deeply in the power of education and access. Irena’s goal is to empower women to develop themselves, grow professionally, and achieve their dreams.
