At WomenNC, we believe lasting change happens through collaboration. Our partnerships bring together universities, community organizations, businesses, and civic leaders who share our commitment to advancing gender equity, youth leadership, and civic engagement.

Since 2009, these partnerships have helped us expand opportunities for young leaders to research, advocate, and present their work—from local forums in North Carolina to global stages like the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (CSW). Together, we’re creating pathways for youth voices to influence policy, drive innovation, and shape a more equitable future.

University & Classroom Collaborations
Through the WomenNC Student Partners Program, faculty can integrate civic leadership, research, and gender equity modules into classroom experiences. Professors may co-design semester projects, host guest speakers, or mentor students participating in our Scholars or Youth Leaders for Change programs—bridging academic learning with real-world impact.

High School & Community Partnerships
Collaborate with WomenNC to host Youth Leadership Workshops, advocacy trainings, or research mentorship opportunities that engage students ages 16–18 in civic action and public service.

Program Sponsorships
Support WomenNC’s flagship initiatives—the Juanita Bryant Scholars Leadership Program and Youth Leaders for Change—by funding scholarships, student stipends, and UN travel opportunities.

Event Partnerships
Co-host or sponsor major annual events such as Youth Voices for Global Change and the Local-to-Global Forum. Provide guest speakers, venue support, or funding to elevate youth advocacy.
