Communications & Outreach Interns<\/b> Research & Program Interns<\/b> Development & Fundraising Interns<\/b> Events & Engagement Interns<\/b> WomenNC internships are designed to support each student\u2019s unique goals, interests, and schedule. Whether you\u2019re exploring research, communications, event planning, or policy advocacy, our flexible, hands-on internships provide meaningful opportunities to apply classroom learning to real-world impact. Students receive mentorship, leadership training, and professional experience tailored to their career interests\u2014while contributing directly to projects that advance gender equity and civic engagement across North Carolina and beyond. <\/span><\/p>\n Internships are not limited to what is listed above. If you are interested in an internship with WomenNC, please email info@womennc.org.<\/b><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div> \u2022 Duration: 10\u201312 weeks (Fall, Spring, or Summer terms)<\/p>\n \u2022 Time Commitment: 6\u201310 hours per week (flexible hybrid schedule)<\/p>\n \u2022 Location: Primarily remote with periodic in-person events in the Triangle area<\/p>\n \u2022 Eligibility: Open to high school juniors\/seniors, college, and community college students with an interest in gender equity, leadership, and civic engagement<\/p>\n<\/div> Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. <\/b>Support content creation for social media, newsletters, and press outreach. Assist in designing campaigns that amplify youth leadership and gender equity initiatives.<\/span><\/p>\n
<\/b>Work alongside our Scholars and Youth Leaders for Change participants to collect data, analyze local equity issues, and help translate research into advocacy and policy recommendations.<\/span><\/p>\n
<\/b>Assist with grant research, donor relations, sponsorship outreach, and event fundraising efforts to sustain WomenNC\u2019s mission and programs.<\/span><\/p>\n
