Dr. Ariana Vigil is a Druscilla French Distinguished Professor and Chair of the Department of Women’s and Gender Studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Senator Sydney Batch (D-17) has served as a Senator since 2021, previously serving as the House Representative of District 37 from 2019-2021, and is a co-founder of Batch, Poore, and Williams, PC.
Vicki Smith is the Executive Director of the Alliance of Disability Advocates, a federally funded Center for Independent Living (CIL). Prior to working at Alliance, Vicki was the Executive Director of Disability Rights NC from 2007 to 2018, when she retired.
