We are so grateful for such an empowering night celebrating Women's History Month and efforts related to gender equity coming out of UNC! Big thank you to everyone who came out to support! This event was sponsored completely by students, and featured performances by Cadence A Capella and AYONI, an up-and-coming female artist from LA. 100% of proceeds were donated to WomenNC, NC Women United, and the National Council of Jewish Women! The event took place on March 2nd at the Local 506 on Franklin Street at 6:30PM.

Cadence is an a cappella group at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. They are a community service-oriented group, and love to perform at events on campus and in neighboring communities.
Cadence was founded by Melissa "Lisa" Offoha in 2003, then a junior at UNC. The group established its presence on UNC's campus after hard work and commitment to making music. It currently consists of 15-18 young, diverse, femme-presenting people who love to sing.
